A message from our
headteacher
Leigham Primary School is at the heart of the local community and welcomes the involvement of parents and families. Our rich and aspirational curriculum and extra-curricular opportunities provide a diverse range of learning experiences for all of our pupils, regardless of need or barrier, and prepares them well for the next stages of their education and life.
With Trauma Informed Principles as our foundation, we provide pupils with a safe, nurturing environment in which they can learn and develop purposefully. We ensure that children have high aspirations and support them to become kind, curious and responsible learners and young people.
We regularly share and celebrate events and successes in our weekly newsletters, on our Facebook and Instagram pages and on our website. The prospectus is attached to the website and we hope that you find this information useful. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of staff.
We encourage prospective parents to visit us. I would be happy to meet you and offer you a personal tour for you to see our school and understand what we can offer your child.
Trauma Informed Principles

Children and parents/carers feel a sense of belonging to our school family and we work in partnership, building strong positive relationships with and around the children in our care. Dream Big
At Leigham, we have an ambitious curriculum which enables all learners to be successful, regardless of any needs or barriers they may have.
We encourage them to have high aspirations for their futures and to Dream BIg- as we believe they can achieve anything they put heir minds to.
Visits from ex pupils, our Dream Big (Where are they now?) display and links with local businesses inspire our learners and provide positive role models they can aspire to be like.
Leigham is a fantastic school, my eldest child attended and is now at secondary school, he is a confident child with aspirations and a positive attitude to schooling all thanks to Leigham. My youngest child is at Leigham and absolutely loves it.
Leigham Primary School has been an amazing experience for my son/ All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and assisted with all aspects of support, ensuring that his SEN needs were met. He was so happy there that he didn't want to leave!
