After School Clubs- Spring Term

Extra-curricular after school clubs will run for nine weeks next term. The first five-week block will start during week commencing 13th January and the second four-week block will start after half term during week commencing 24th February.  After school clubs will be run by school staff and Plymouth School Sport Partnership coaches. The cost of attending each club for the term is £18. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and need to be booked online through our school money website. When clubs have reached their capacity, you will be unable to book a place online and there will be a reserve list available in the office.

Points to note:

  • Please speak to the school office if you would like to discuss alternative payment options as we may be able to support families in special circumstances.
  • Families eligible for Free School Meals will be charged half price per club (£9). Please see the office staff to arrange payment or you can pay full price online to guarantee your place and then request a refund for the discount.
  • Children attending clubs will need to follow the expectations set out by the members of staff running them. If a child is disruptive or is poorly behaved, this may result in their place being given to another pupil.
  • Clubs will run each week (regardless of the weather). Where possible, there will be an alternative arrangement for outdoor sports clubs to take place inside. During drizzle/light rain, children will still take part in activities outside. Please ensure that they are appropriately dressed to do so.
  • Clubs will start straight after school and will end at 4.15pm. Children will need to be picked up from the allocated collection point (shown opposite).
  • Children attending sports clubs will not automatically be selected to represent the school in competitive events. ALL children from across the school will be considered when deciding who takes part in competitive events- the team selection will be made using teachers’ knowledge of children and performance in P.E lessons.
