Summer Workshops

Thank you to those parents who have attended workshops so far this year. We have received really positive feedback on our school Facebook site from some of the parents who have …

I've attended several workshops. I found them really informative, with lots of ideas to try at home too. Workshops alongside your own child are some of the best that I've been to. Orienteering with the children was fantastic. Also, working with your child on skills that they use in the classroom is great fun. It's lovely to spend time learning with children at the workshops, without all of the distractions that we have at home. I'm looking forward to attending more in the future. Thank you.’ Mrs. Bruce

‘I’ve attend lots of workshops and have found them very good! I love coming in to work alongside my boys.’  Mrs. Gocher

‘I would encourage everyone to attend these workshops. It's a good opportunity to gain an insight into what your child is learning and how you can apply this at home. The children enjoy it too.’- Mrs. Wonnacott

I HIGHLY recommend any workshops to discuss the new curriculum. It gives ideas of what types of work you really need to be practicing/encouraging at home.’ – Mrs. Hyndman.

This term’s workshops are listed on the reverse of this letter. Please indicate which ones you would like to attend and return it to Mrs. Barker or the school office. As you will see, some of the workshops are parent- only and some will be working alongside your child. At least one week prior to the workshop, you will receive a text message to confirm your place.

In response to feedback, we have tried to provide some sessions which are out of school hours, to enable working parents to attend. During these sessions, there could be childcare available in our Pheonix after-school club for school-aged children. Please let the office know if you would like to book a place for a child whilst you attend the workshop.

Thank you for your continued support.
